This friendly home is set in the historic town of Battle, East Sussex - this of course being the heart of 1066 Country.Heather Hill is in a quiet yet easily accessible location overlooking open countryside. You have a choice of four ensuite rooms.
Battle itself is steeped in history. It also has many fine restaurants and interesting shops, wonderful walking and cycling opportunities and stunning scenery.
Most visitors make a point of visiting Battle Abbey while they are here. This is William the Conqueror's lasting memorial to his victory in the Battle of Hastings 1066. The Abbey is open all year, drawing particularly large numbers of visitors on occasions such as the 'Battle of Hastings Re-enactment' and various music events.
